Where you sell decides how much you keep. Here's the practical map for singles, graded slabs, and sealed in 2026.
eBay — best reach + best for graded/sealed
eBay has the deepest buyer pool and the best sold-price history, which matters most for graded slabs and sealed product where price discovery is everything. Fees run ~13% but the realized price is usually higher. Check live sold comps before you list.
TCGplayer — best for singles at volume
If you're moving lots of singles, TCGplayer's marketplace is built for it (and buyers go there to complete sets). Lower friction for bulk singles than one-off eBay listings.
Local / in-person — fastest, lowest price
Card shops and shows pay immediately but at a discount to market (they need margin). Good for fast liquidation of bulk; bad for maximizing on chase cards.
Get the price right before you sell
Whatever the venue, price off sold comps, not listed prices. For sealed, the resale calculator shows your premium over retail. Graded slabs sell for the most — see which grader the market pays for.
